Shailene Woodley is an American actress and activist. The film The Descendants, she played Alexandra King who is an addiction-prone teenager. Following her awe-inspiring role of The Descendants, she came up with several other performances which showed her capability to portray challenging roles effortlessly. Shailene managed to establish herself in Hollywood at a young age in her career, which by itself is an impressive feat. Shailene's film career began appearing in TV series and commercials. Later, she played important roles in Hollywood flicks. The actress has been awarded a variety of prizes for her outstanding acting skills, such as the MTV Movie Awards.
